What are you going to do?
As a freight forwarder, you will be responsible for the entire cargo shipping process, from preparing documentation to coordinating shipments. You will work closely with suppliers, customers and carriers to ensure smooth logistics handling.
- You will organise and coordinate national and international transport of goods.
- You prepare transport documents, such as notes of lading and customs information.
- You will communicate with customers and carriers about shipments and delivery statuses.
- You monitor shipments and proactively resolve any problems.
- You manage the administration around transport and shipments.
- You ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures.
- You will contribute to improving logistics processes and efficiency.
Who are you?
- You have MBO working and thinking level, preferably with a background in transport and logistics.
- You have relevant experience in a similar position within a transport department.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German and/or French is a nice addition.
- You are stress-resistant, strong in organisation and have excellent communication skills.
- You can work independently, are proactive, and at the same time a real team player with perseverance and persuasiveness.
